  •  Little's has supplied the Dumfries & Galloway region with traditionally home cured bacon, pies and thier well known roast ham for many years. Little's are known locally for bringing The Royal Smithfield Pig champion to Castle Douglas for the first time in 1990 from the Earl's Court Show.  The Queen Mother, in her 90th year, recieved a leg of pork.  It was sent to Clarence House and a letter of thanks now hangs in the shop in King Street.

When Princess Anne came to visit Castle Douglas and endorse the Food Town in its first full year her first port of call was :-

      "Littles of Course''.

  

Little's wide range of products are prepared by craftsmen who know how to handle and select the finest and leanest pork. Recently Little's smoked bacon has been chosen by a large pate firm in the region, who require only the best, to supply its award winning pate to the Waitrose Group.
