Airds Farm B & B

The Gatehouse and Kirkcudbright Angling Association (GKAA) has for the last few months, allowed us here at Airds Farm B&B to supply guests and locals from the Castle Douglas and surrounding area with a permit for Lochenbreck. This was to save locals travelling to Kirkcudbright to get a day ticket. To further improve the service the committee has agreed that it would be beneficial to locals to also have access to a boat from this side of the loch without having to travel to Kirkcudbright twice. The key is now at the farmhouse and can be issued from March 15th 2019 to those who require to hire a boat. We are also hoping to provide season tickets from here in the very near future. ...

Airds Farm B & B

One happy man! David is a regular at the B&B and took advantage recently to learn how to fly cast with Derek Kelly our local fly casting instructor and guide. David learned initially how to cast with a fly rod and then some basic fishing techniques. He is seen here with his first ever trout. Well done David!
